Hello Makers!
We had a great turn out to the BBQ on Wednesday night. We expected 20 – 25 people to show up but by the end of the night we had an estimated 45 -50 visitors. We had people from all over show their faces and support: neighbors, friends, button factory folks, New Heights teachers, local artisans and craftspeople, UNH Professors, Veterinarians, local business owners, engineers, metal workers, architects, wood workers and more. We even had a group drive up from Boston to see the new makerspace and meet the community. The Makerbot was in full swing printing anything we could dream up (mostly whistles and snakes…). Alex Nunn from Seacoast Makers put together a couple arduino demos for visitors. The fun continued into the early hours of the morning, thanks to everyone for making our first gathering of the community such a great success!
