Intro to Soldering – Youth Class
February 28, 2019 @ 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Is your child interested in learning electronics? Come with them to this Intro to Soldering class and we’ll show them how to build two simple circuits! Attendees will learn safety and soldering technique, and how to use other related tools for soldering like cutters and pliers.
There are two electronics kits that are provided for pratice in this class: a Learn to Solder Badge, and a super bright flashlight! We will start with the Solder Badge and do the second one if there is time.
Each attendee will have a working light-up creation and another unique circuit built by the end of the class, as well as an understanding of how soldering works and the different applications for it.
We ask that parents attend with their child, but each ticket can be for a both parent and child.
