Standard Operating Procedure

  • Oil Before Every Use - Oiling locations marked with red
  • Ensure you have threaded the machine correctly. Refer to the manual or video every time.
  • Plug in the machine and switch it on
  • Adjust the speed using the control box to something appropriate for your project.
    • Slow = 400 and under
    • Medium = 800
    • Fast = 1000 or greater
  • Set the needle position to Up or Down depending on what is appropriate for your project.
  • Perform the work
  • When finished, clean off the machine, remove your thread. Leave a section of the top thread still in the machine to make it easy to re-thread it next time.
