How to Use
- Setup
- Position the dust collector on a stable, level surface.
- Install the collection bag(s) and ensure all clamps are secure.
- Connect the dust hose to the machine being used.
- Verify all hose connections are tight and free of leaks.
- Plug the dust collector into an appropriate power outlet.
- Operation
- Turn on the dust collector before starting the woodworking machine.
- Confirm adequate airflow through the hose.
- Operate the woodworking machine as normal.
- Monitor the collection bag and airflow during use.
- Shutdown
- Turn off the woodworking machine.
- Allow the dust collector to run for a few seconds to clear remaining dust from the hose.
- Turn off the dust collector.
- Empty the collection bag when it reaches approximately two-thirds full.
General Tips and Safety
- Always wear appropriate eye and hearing protection when operating woodworking equipment.
- Wear a dust mask or respirator when working with fine wood dust, especially from hardwoods or MDF.
- Inspect hoses and fittings regularly for leaks or blockages.
- Never collect hot materials, sparks, burning embers, or flammable liquids.
- Disconnect power before performing maintenance or changing collection bags.
- Empty collection bags regularly to maintain maximum airflow and performance.
- Keep hands, clothing, and loose objects away from the impeller inlet.
