The Grizzly H2936 Downdraft Table is a self-contained dust collection workstation designed for sanding and other dust-producing operations. It pulls airborne dust downward through a perforated surface and filters it internally, improving air quality and visibility during work.
This unit is intended primarily for wood dust collection and is commonly used with handheld sanders and light finishing tools.

Common Uses
- Hand sanding (orbital, palm sanders)
- Wood surface preparation
- Light finishing work
- Dust control during small fabrication tasks
Setup
- Inspect the unit:
- Ensure filters are installed, clean, and properly seated
- Check that the dust chamber is not overfilled
- Verify airflow openings are unobstructed
- Place the table on a level surface
- Plug into a 120V outlet
- Turn on the unit and confirm airflow at the table surface
- Plug handheld tools into onboard outlets if needed
- Begin sanding directly over perforated surface
Operation Tips
- Keep work centered over the perforated area for best dust capture
- Avoid placing large flat objects that completely block airflow
- Let the system run briefly after finishing to clear airborne dust
- Replace or clean filters regularly to maintain suction
Maintenance
- Replace prefilter frequently (captures bulk debris)
- Replace main filter as needed based on airflow reduction
- Clean interior dust chamber periodically
- Inspect blower motor and listen for abnormal noise
- Check seals and cabinet for dust leaks
