To respect the Governor’s Emergency Order #17 and the advice of health organizations regarding social distancing, our space is temporarily closed to the public and to members until it has been deemed safe to re-open. You can read our announcement to members with details on the closing here.

Some of our members and volunteers have been assisting with efforts to make PPE to protect local heathcare workers. We have been 3D printing designs for face shields from Budmen Industries and MakeIt Labs. Patty Pagels has been coordinating these efforts between makers producing PPE and healthcare workers in need, and has set up a GoFundMe to help continue purchasing supplies like plastic sheets and elastics. As of April 25th approximately 1000 have been produced, and between our shop’s 3D printers and volunteers in the region we have produced about 50 a day.
