To help serve our mission of providing knowledge to encourage the artist and maker in everyone, we offer classes and events on a regular basis.
The types of classes and events we typically offer fall into 3 categories:
- Introductory classes that focus on safety and proper tool usage
- Project-focused classes where attendees work on something that they take home
- Lecture-style classes that share experience and valuable information
All are welcome to propose a class or event to host at Port City Makerspace. Our Programming Committee and General Manager are responsible for reviewing and approving submissions.
